The Park
Environment, economy, and society are the three core pillars guiding the work of the Ente Parco Veneto del Delta del Po. The natural, environmental, historical, and cultural values found within the Po Delta area are considered resources capable of supporting the economic, social, and cultural development of the local communities living in these territories.
The Po Delta Regional Park was established in 1997 with the aim of protecting, restoring, enhancing, and preserving the natural, historical, and cultural characteristics of the territory, promoting economic activities that are compatible with the surrounding environment, and contributing to the improvement of quality of life for local communities.
